THE BLIND WORLD.
Have you ever closed your eyes to walk on a street you have been walking on? Were you able to walk to your destination? How was the feeling?
I have experienced one before by blindfolding myself. It looked difficult to walk without your eyes. It was very had for me to get to my destination, I had many obstacles to overcome. The street I had used for about fifteen years looked like different street to me. I was even lucky to get all my teeth back when I fell into a gutter. I got to realize the eye was one essential part of our body and we must take good care of it.
Some people in our world has never had the chance to see the skies or the people around them, not even their parents. Where their world is full of darkness and everything they do, they have to imagine it.
I have also asked myself that how will they even eat when no one is around them. Will they have to cook for themselves? The answer is definitely yes they have to do it. This answer kept on boggling my mind until it was release by a friend who had been blind since day one still date. He gave me an answer that got my mouth opened till he, himself narrated how he cooks his favorite diet which is banku and okro stew. For the whole day I was astonished and amazed about everything that he said to me.
Let's analyze things here, in the first place I was astonished and it kept me thinking of it the whole day? Things they do are above the imagination of the normal person. Many of us don't even know how to cook or do little chores. We do have eyes to walk to every destination we want to, we do have eyes to do anything that we wish to do but what are some of us doing to help the generation beyond. Is high time we make benefits of the eyes we have because some do not have but they are making history.
